Surrey creep catchers and why you should want to shut them down.

Nobody really gets how Creep Catchers does more harm than good do they?

This is a group of private citizens who are placing themselves in the most holy of moral high ground: the outraged citizen looking down on the pedophilic scum.

I maintain that these people are motivated by the high they get from positioning their egos in the aforementioned spot, not the desire to reduce sex-related crime.

Where is the most damage done via sex crimes? From both an individual and societal standpoint? I think it's a no-brainer that rape by a stranger takes the #1 spot. Can this crime be curbed through public effort? Probably, Spreading info on how to reduce your chances of being a victim would be one place to start. Flyering high schools, universities, along with internet and TV spots would all help people think twice before getting into potentially dangerous situations. Raising awareness about areas of concern such as the woods in UBC, or even organizing some patrols would certainly discourage potential offenders. How about operating a call service for women (or men) who feel they are being stalked by individuals who have yet to do enough to get the cops interested? Then they wouldn't have to wait to be assaulted before Vancouver's finest (HAHAHA) get involved. They could send patrols to the homes of those who feel threatened. A "Stalker watch" service that would end most instances before any real damage could be done. How about nightclubs? When they let out they could have people there offering rides to anyone who is overly intoxicated and not with friends they trust?

Now, think about who exactly the potential victims "Creep watch" are? These are not pedophiles, they can't be. What kid (And by that I mean prepubescent) trolls around the internet all day flirting with adults hoping to sneak off and meet one? NONE! ZERO!  Kids don't do that, pedophiles who actually go after kids are pretty much exclusively relatives or close family friends. "Creep watch" would have no effect whatsoever on real child molesters and how they operate

So who ARE they going after? Well on one side you have "Wild" teenagers. kids who like to party under the age of 18, and on the other side you have Horny dudes trawling the net looking to get laid, or maybe dudes not looking to catch a fish, but not willing to throw one back if it jumps in their boat either.

If you are going to be totally honest for a second and get off your high horse, My guess is that those two groups include EVERYONE on this forum (Girls too can fit either description)

In New Jersey the age of consent is 16, in other countries it is lower than that. Post puberty restrictions on the ability to give consent are relative to your zip code. Arbitrary numbers made up by some long gone politician, I wouldn't be surprised if some of your grandparents turned out to have actually been "Pedophilic monsters" while attempting to produce your parents. Your great grandparents almost certainly were. Would you have liked "Creep watch" to bust in on them while they were working on your parents?

Where ever you fall on that side of the debate matters little, what matters is that the crime it'self may not be a crime at all depending on where you live, and if that's the case.......

....THEN THE CRIME ISN'T A SERIOUS ONE!! Get this through your head: TEENAGERS LIKE SEX FEMALE ONES TOO!!
So this brings us full circle back to where we were trying to establish who exactly "Creep watch" will be having an effect on, in light of what I've presented I think we can rule out real child molesters or innocent victims. A crime involving these parties (And it is a horrible crime when it happens) will not find it's genesis in the area "Creep Watch" currently patroles. The real child molesters and psychopathic rapists have nothing to fear from this group.

So assuming someone at Creep Watch has an IQ above 50, none of this would have been hard for them to figure out. So then, What is their motive? If it can't be hindering sex-criminals then why are they doing this?

The fact that I'm writing this and you are reading it makes the answer obvious.

The human ego LOVES the moral high ground, some scientific research shows it can have an effect similar to Cocaine on the brain's neurotransmitters. Any opportunity to look down your nose at THEM is an opportunity to get high.  And if you know that their faults are so grievous that any faults you have would be forgiven in comparison, then all the better. It's called scapegoating and I encourage you to seek out some scholarly articles on it. It is an archetype common to all cultures that has everything to do sacrificing another so your wrongdoings  never come to trial.

Creep Watch isn't preventing sex-crime, They are jacking off to their own selfies. Whether you decide to tickle their 'nads for them while they re at it is up to you. But beware, because if that someday falls under their self-appointed mandate or if they are desperate for thier next hit of moral supremicy, it could be YOU who winds up with an eyeful of people-putty.

When taking a better offer deals a death blow to the entire city, that is when the government needs to step in and say, NO MORE

Curiously our government did not, they stood by with their palms outpaced and a sheepish grin as if to say "What are we supposed to do? Were only the government"

Even more curious is the fact that our mayor is dating a high profile member of this new Chinese bourgeois, whose mother apparently has been the cause of enough human rights violations to land her in prison in this country

A mayor that visited the invading army in their own country to enjoy all the comforts of the financial elite while at home the people whose city he was responsible for were driven out.

And as Vancouver was overrun by people who could care less whether we live or die (Take that to the bank) and it was too obvious an invasion to ignore the mayor's comment?

"We must be careful of this kind of racism"

HEY! STUPID! THAT IS WHAT IS REFFERED TO AS A " SMOKING GUN!" HE IS GETTING PAID TO LEAVE THE DOOR UNLOCKED FOR THEM!

This is hardly unprecedented, so many B.C politicians have left office via corruption scandal it's really hard to remember who DIDN'T

But at the end of the day, the fault lies with us, we were too weak to defend ourselves too self-centered to think of the collective best interests instead of our own. When the time came to stand up and fight we were not willing to go to jail even for a night or two.

 Sometimes doing what's right means not doing what's legal as laws are overtime put in place to serve nefarious agendas. When that happens it's time to kick ass, our friends to the south know all about that, in fact, it's written into the law of the land. it's every citizens responsibility to watch the government and if it gets out of line and tries to resist the public will, to take it out by whatever4 means necessary.

Of course they are having those laws repealed as we speak by those who have infiltrated their government and are trying to make them to forget what thier country was founded on now as we speak, it's probably too late for them as I fear it is too us. Globalization is as we speak rolling it's tanks through our back yard and by the time we realize what they truley have in mind for us, it will be much too late to do anything about it.

Vancouver was not fought for, and therefore we didn't deserve to keep it.

And screw us too, as we've sat by and done nothing as the baby boomer generation and it's criminal politicians have sold the very ground out from under us.

I am looking into hiring an attorney (One who does not live in Vancouver) to assess the legality of what has been allowed to happen here.

I for one think a class action lawsuit against the people who have presided over this bloodless invasion should be made to answer for this.

The current Mayor has huge ties to Chinese money and when once queried he said the exact same thing as you

"We must be careful about this kind of racism"

I for one am no longer concerned with being labeled a racist by those who would seek to have me evicted from the place I grew up. 

It would be one thing if the invaders were people who wanted to form some kind of community with those who were already here, but the Chinese strategy of economic and social isolationism leaves no room for that.

The natives certainly could have a good laugh over this in a "What goes around comes around" kind of way, but I would suggest they don't.

They may want to look at it this way" Reservations, economic concessions, a voice in the decision-making process for the province, are all things they have, they want more, but they currently have them....

...what do you think the Chinese will give you? 

Look to their own country for the answers, what they do there, they will do here. You will get a bullet for which your family will be sent the bill.

Is anyone here clamoring to buy real estate in China? No? Why? because it is a disgusting A moral society in which greed is the guiding principal.

I wasn't in this city over the 15 years it was happening, why didn't you riot? Why didn't you do SOMETHING? Remember if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything, and under this, the worst of generations, Vancouver has fallen
